FAQS ABOUT HEAVEN

Does heaven {Paradise} exist?
The answer is YES. Jn. 14:2 In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

Heb. 11:16 Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Where is heaven?

The skies above the stars is termed as third sky, there is Heaven,  which Jesus called  ‘my father’s house.’ It is located on the north side. The below scriptures sustain it.
Ps. 48:2 our God, [in] the mountain of his holiness. {48:2} Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Job.  26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place.
Unfortunately, the hubble telescope, and even more powerful than that can’t find it.

What does god do in Heaven?
2Ch. 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive
their sin and will heal their land.
Ps. 14:2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

He’ ready to cone down to earth again from Heaven:

1Th. 4:16.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

1Th. 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

Re. 19:11 With justice he judges and makes war.

Is Heaven filled with Angels?

Yes. Lk. 15:10 I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

Is it filled with humans?

Mt. 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Yes. Re. 21:3 “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

What type of bodies do god’s people have in heaven?

To know the right answer, first you’d better read the scripture below.

Mt. 17:3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.  Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters — one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

You may wonder how Peter and James identified them as Moses and Elijah, though there were many years of gap between their generation.

Biblical scholars give answer to the question. They say that Peter and James they must have seen the portraits of Elijah and Moses. Unless they had seen them, they wouldn’t identify them.

So, our appearance doesn’t change in heaven, but out bodies transform to that of Jesus body.

Lk. 24:39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

1Co. 15:50 I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

But you may wonder how can a man live without blood.

Jn. 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
Jn. 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Can god’s people identify their relatives and friends in heaven?

Of course.  1Co. 13:12; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Do they marry there?

No.  Mt. 22:30 people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

What about Infants and children who die before they get baptized? Do they inherit Heaven?

Mt. 18:10 “See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels(their transformed bodies without blood) in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Mt. 18:14 Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

What does Heaven look like?

Re. 21:11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. Re. 21:12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. Re. 21:13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. Re. 21:14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Re. 21:16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia [That is, about 1,400 miles (about 2,200 kilometres)] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. Re. 21:17 He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits [That is, about200 feet (about 65 metres)] thick, [Or high] by man’s measurement, which the angel was using.Re. 21:18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as
pure as glass.

Re. 21:19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, Re. 21:20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. [The precise identification of some of these precious stones is uncertain.]

Re. 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. Re. 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Re. 21:23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. Re. 21:24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendour into it. Re. 21:25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. Re. 21:26 The glory and honour of the nations will be brought into it.
Re. 21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it.
